So I have a new project that involve a four legged creature, a dog.
So I went to the lab and rush out some key poses and just basic
feel for what I want. Spend a bit under a hour and rushed this out,
it's not much but it's a bases for the 3d I am going to do. I have less
than 2 weeks to do this and under 5 seconds, it might end up to be 8 seconds.
Let's hope I don't kill myself with this on top of my already crowded schedule.
But I just want to animate animate animate!

WIP Metal Jacket
A bit overwhelm with loads of work,
I have to do three animations in less than 5 weeks to put together
for my reel and animation. I've also started an acting club as
Vice President and obtain a lot more obligations for this quarter than
intented. Need to organize my time and work. I've bought a weekly planner
and will be using it very frequently.
So a little work in progress on this animation.

New and Final Quarter
So this is a new quarter for me, also my last.
Which means one thing : Work my Butt OFF
I need to create a top notch animation reel.
Beside putting my portfolio and reel together,
I'm going to be working on a 2d animation project and
tons of small 3d animation projects.
I already feel the pressure, and animation seems longer
and harder than before, I think it's the massive due date.
Anyways, here are some of my work in progress pf my 2d and 3d,
hopefully I get to finish these well and soon.

Lip Sync Finals
Haven't been able to get any free time at all, everything has been
very busy lately. On top of my tons of General Education classes, I
have to finish a lip sync dialogue within two weeks. Fun? Yes it is!
But I have all these other projects I need to do first, which is very
horribly unsatisfactory.
I haven't went to life drawing in such a long time, and almost forgot about
the annual Gage Academy's Art Jam, where it's 12 hours of life drawings
from gestures, to still life, to 2-3 hours life drawing poses.
I got some not so good drawings, but I got one that I think was pretty good.
I also haven't have any time to draw anything lately, but I did doodle out some
characters, the dogs are for the DogPile search engine pitch I'm working on with
thier logo/mascot. There are other drawings for our school's animation dept.
mascot. I haven't have much time to draw more than what I wanted.

So here is whatt I have so far for my lip sync project, I used the dialogue
from Full Metal Jacket:

Monsters vs Alien
The latest Dreamworks animation! I CAN'T HARDLY WAIT!
It seemed to me that lately, Dreamworks have the upper hand in
entertainment as far as comedy against Pixar. Like Wall-E was a
more serious movie that Kung Fu Panda, and as far as I've noticed from
the trailers, Monsters vs. Alien seemed to be more comical than Pixar's UP.
Can't wait to see both though! Wouldn't want to miss Monsters vs Alien on Imax!

Finally Finished.
So we finally finished our film.
PreProduction 5 weeks
production and post-production 5 weeks
Stressed - ended several decades off my life.
Showing my animation to everyone and blowing them away - Priceless.
I'm so proud of myself and my team that I've picked and directed.
Doesn't matter how artistically skilled a director is, even
though it helps, but it mostly matter of how well he picks the people
and directs them.
Nathan Rinehart, my main man, sat next to me day and night
composting all of the big and small detail of the animation.
Even though it was extremely stressful and tiring, but the power of
working with a group of people who are extremely dedicated and passionate
as you are, are something very describable.
Right at the last minute of 5 weeks, we finished our film and I
ran up and down the hall like a little school girl, getting
as much instructors I see, which wasn't much because it was
Friday and everyone already left.
We got our animation director, Roby Gilbert and show it to him,
then he told us to get the Dean and other department directors,
They were very happy and sad to see the film.
Now, it's major catch up time on my endless tons of assignments and
projects that I put aside to finish this film.
Since I'm planning to enter this in some film festivals,
I cannot show you the animation. However, I think I can put up
a small sneak peak of the film, since the best part is at the end,
still keep the ending a secret
